7 days to die navezgane map caves11/8/2023 ![]() ![]() We've tried it on and off, and we've found that among friends, it's a net-positive.Ħ) Alpha 20 is possibly going to screw up some mods that are very worthwhile, at least until the modders fix them. I guess I'd say Navezgane.ĥ) You know each other, so we'd strongly suggest Player Killing set to Kill Everyone, because the danger of friendly fire adds a bit more danger. I can share our list of what we've settled on as an interesting mod list for us after hundreds of hours of gameplay in 1 to 5 player games.Ĥ) MAP: Navezgane vs a good KingGen map is a major decision crossroads for you. After that figure out what mods make sense for you. Add the Better Book Icons mod for quality of life, and DDZ mentioned above if you like. ![]() If you do the opposite of these 3 choices, you may not be able to explore, or need to explore.ģ) MODS: don't do your 1-time playthrough totally unmodded, but also don't do an overhaul mod. You can also add something like the Dan's Dangerous Zombies mod, so that the zombies do 2.5x more damage but you don't need to hit them 15 times each to get a kill.Ģ) LOOT: Loot Spawn 100% + Loot Respawning disabled + not too insanely difficult in general = you will need and want to explore the map. So instead of survivalist/insane, We'd recommend that you two do nomad/warrior, but increase each zombie speed setting by 1 (maybe 2 for daytime, up to run) and add a mod that spawns 3x or 4x zombies in all places, like Duriel's More Zombies and Larger Hordes, set on x4. So for us, more zombies + faster zombies are more interesting/challenging than tough zombies + extra-extra-intense blood moons. For our small games, we like being in a steady state of danger, but we don't like the zombies to be bullet-sponges, or to have to spent tons and tons of time on base repair. Ok if you're going to play one good one, here are a few thoughts in order of importance:ġ) ZOMBIE DAMAGE, TOUGHNESS AND SPEED: The setting called Difficulty Settings adjusts 2-3 things at once: their toughness, the damage they do, and I think maybe some of their rage/aggro. I have over 11k hours playing this game and Nevezgane map is the one Im always back to its just that good. That will make your experience waaaaay more gratifying. should take you couple of hundreds of hours. I play with no respawn, about 140th day in and I didnt even explored half the map yet loot still respawn when you got a quest to a POI anyway so your map will still be relevant even if you discover it whole.ĭO NOT add any mods till youre bored with vanilla. This one suck so much!! I play Nevezgane again this run and its still an amazing map. You dont have to generate one and wait unholy amounts of time to realize its missing stuff or stuff is broken WHEN youre playing it. I would say : try 19.6 maybe solo and then upgrade when alpha 20 hits might be months for stable alpha 20.
