Lightfall reviews even plummeted into Mostly Negative territory on Steam, with many pointing to the campaign as the expansion's most disappointing aspect. This new Destiny 2 quest should correct that omission. The lack of information regarding the Veil in Destiny 2's Lightfall campaign has been a major focus for criticisms of the expansion. Soon after, you'll repeat the process once more destroy the vex and the cube, fight off another wave of vex, then make your exit through the passage on the right.ĭestroy the final tower and finish off the Vex you've been chasing at this point, it will be down to its last health bar, so it won't last long. Once it's gone, use the vent on the left side of the room. Still, the room you're fighting in is small, so be sure to keep moving while you fire at it. You'll be surprised by a strong Vex enemy, but they will quickly run away once they take enough damage. The boxes in the corner will lead to the next floor, and then another vent for you to drop down.Īt the top of the stairs will be another tower, with a cube at the top for you to destroy. At the top of the shaft is a data tower you'll need to destroy by defeating the malfunctioning Vex and shooting the cube on top. Use any remaining power ammo and abilities on the larger Vex, then open the chest at the back of the room before you break open the next door.īeyond the door are a few more Vex and a vent off the right side. At the back of the room, you'll find more Cyclopses and a large Vex that will chase you down at the end. Anything with room-clearing potential- Grenade Launchers, Rockets, Supers- comes in very handy at this point. Do this to get across the first platform, and then use it again to get across the large gap on the right side of the area.įollow the grapple points and then shoot down the glass door you'll be respawn-restricted and come across a large wave of Vex. Aim at the floating green orb and press your grenade button to connect to the grapple point. Here the game will explain the basics of your grappling hook. Then, head to the elevator in the back to reach the next floor.Īt the end of the path, you'll find another pillar of Strand. Once the outer building is clear, do the same to its interior, though thankfully there are fewer Cyclopses.
